Then he and a new friend, Chip, who's also adoped, begin receiving mysterious letters. The first one says, "You are one of the missing." The second one says, "Beware! They're coming back to get you." Jonah, Chip, and Jonah's sister, Katherine, are plunged into a mystery that involves the FBI, a vast smuggling operation, an airplane that appeared out of nowhere -- and people who seem to appear and disappear at will. The kids discover they are caught in a battle between two opposing forces that want very different things for Jonah and Chip's lives. Do Jonah and Chip have any choice in the matter? And what should they choose when both alternatives are horrifying? With Found, Margaret Peterson Haddix begins a new series that promises to be every bit as suspenseful as her Shadow Children series -- which has sold more than 41/2 million copies -- and proves her, once again, to be a master of the page-turner. | | | Features: | |

Found, the best book in the worldAug 13, 2010 I think my title says everything you need to know. This is one of Haddix's greatest books. With twists and turns around every corner, even if you've heard how it's going to turn out in the end, (like i did) it still gives you a mesmerizing and surprising story. I'm definitely reading Sent!

mightymomMay 17, 2010 I was between books and asked my 9 year old son for a recommendation. He gave me the book 'Found' with assurances that I would really like it. I didn't want to disappoint him by saying it was probably too juvenile for me to really enjoy it so I took it to read before bedtime. Somewhere around midnight I reluctantly made myself put it down. It was a definite page-turner. Can't wait to go to the library tomorrow and pick up the next book.

horribleMar 06, 2010 do not buy this book. i did not even bother to finish it. i just think that the plot is really stupid
Good mix of Fact and FictionJan 25, 2010 I really liked the book. I thought that Haddix does a good job of explaining time travel, and I liked how she portrayed the characters. My favorite part of the book was how all the main characters, the kids, are all based on people who have disappeared in real life. I thought that all the time travel stuff is kinda confusing though.
So, if you like action, intrigue, and time travel, this book is for you. I'd recommend this book for 10-15 year olds.
